The Local Food Purchase Assistance (LFPA) Cooperative Agreement Program enhances food security and supports local agricultural economies by partnering with local farmers to supply fresh, nutritious food to communities in need.

In partnership with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, Feeding Kentucky has been awarded funds to form direct relationships with local and regional producers across the state who are interested in supporting our mission to end hunger.

LFPA 2025 Interest Survey

We are looking for Kentucky farmers who want to grow their business and expand to new markets!

All farmers interested in participating in Feeding Kentucky’s track of LFPA in 2025 must first complete an interest survey. Please note that this survey is not an official application for the program. After completing the survey, a member of our team will reach out with more details on the next steps in the application process.

For 2025, Feeding Kentucky will operate the LFPA program using a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) model. All interested farmers must complete the full application process for the opportunity to take part in LFPA. Only farmers with a signed MOU will be able to participate in 2025. This means we will not be accepting additional products on a case-by-case basis, and once you have completed the deliveries outlined in your MOU, we will not be able to accept any additional products from you due to funding restrictions.

The deadline to submit the interest survey is March 10, 2025, by 5:00 PM EST.
