Louisville honors 9-year-old boy whose death helped kick-start Dare to Care’s food bank
It’s been 50 years since the death of 9-year-old Bobby Ellis. He was just 22 pounds when he died from malnutrition. His death rocked the community and soon after, led to the creation of the Dare to Care food bank.
